I am proud to call this state home. I was born in southwest Minnesota, raised in the Twin Cities, attended college in Moorhead and now am living in the Brainerd Lakes Area.
In college, I discovered a true passion for economics—a field that continues to shape my perspective on growth, opportunity, and community. With over 20 years of experience in property management, I built a career centered on problem-solving, organization, and serving people.
As an Area Manager for an inventory management company, I developed a strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of efficient, systematic processes—skills that translate directly into thoughtful, effective leadership.
As a small business owner, I understand firsthand the many hats entrepreneurs must wear and the challenges they face every day. My experiences also extend beyond Minnesota, having lived in London and traveled extensively throughout Europe—broadening my perspective while strengthening an appreciation for home.
I am deeply committed to community and service. I have worked in animal rescue and share a home with rescue dogs, cats, and even a pigeon. A passionate advocate for healthy living and sustainability, I am also a plant-based chef who teaches community classes and is currently developing an e-book series. As a hydroponic gardener, I am invested in innovative, local food solutions.
In my free time, I enjoy skiing, kayaking, and a wide variety of sports—and remain a lifelong fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Golden Gophers!
Grounded in Minnesota values and driven by real-world experience, I am committed to building a stronger future for the community I proudly call home.
